CBH hires Senior Project Manager I Derrick Wada
Increased staffing to expand annual production of new homes
CBH is growing! We are delighted to add a fourth staff member to our housing development department, Senior Project Manager I Derrick Wada. Expanding our housing development capacity has been a strategic goal that will allow CBH to accelerate our production of permanent supportive housing, so that we can take bigger bites out of homelessness. Derrick comes to us from Many Mansions, where he oversaw multiple projects including the construction of 165 apartment units. He holds a BS in landscape architecture from Cal Poly Pomona. Derrick states that he has a passion for developing affordable housing for the most vulnerable in our community. This staffing increase would not have been possible without funding from the California Community Foundation.
Welcome baby Adrian to the CBH family
CBH turns to cuteness for help
And we are growing some more! Baby Adrian was born on August 23, 2016, weighing 5 pounds 14 ounces. Adrian is the proud son of Vanessa Luna, CBH’s Housing Development Director, and Ryan Nakama. We hope to entice baby Adrian to come work for CBH in our marketing department, helping to brand the organization. Could you say “no” to this baby???
